I am a designer and public interest professional working at the intersection of architecture, equity, and policy.

Born and raised in Washington, DC to Trinidadian parents, I spent my formative years in Tyler House (located at the intersection of North Capitol Street and New York Avenue) an experience that continues to shape how I think about housing, community, and urban development. I graduated from School Without Walls High School and went on to study architecture, beginning a career focused on creating spaces that reflect and serve the people who live in them.

Over the years, I’ve been recognized for my contributions to the profession and my commitment to leadership and service. Honors include:

(please note: AIA= American Institute of Architects; PV= Maryland Potomac Valley Chapter of AIA; NOVA= Northern Virginia Chapter of AIA; KC= Knowledge Community)

I’ve also served in leadership and advisory roles that support equity and representation in the field, including:

  • ARCHITECTS FOUNDATION DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

  • SHE SHOULD RUN FRONTRUNNER COMMITTEE

  • AIA HOUSING KC MEMBER

  • AIA WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 2017 CO-CHAIR

Finally, here’s other stuff…
